            NEED TO KNOW
        (Effective January 1, 2009)
       The 2007 NESC Article 410.A3 kicks in. 
      It states:  the employer shall ensure that
      an assessment is performed to determine
        potential exposure to an electric ARC,
          for employees who work on or near
             energized parts or equipment."

Scholarship Application
The purpose of the Electric League of Missouri & Kansas Scholarship Fund is to provide annual scholarships to both entering and continuing college students who are employees of member companies, their children or grandchildren. The fund was established in 1996 and is divided into two funds: the Electric League Scholarship Fund and the Electric League Charitable fund; to provide an ongoing service to members of the Electric League.   Awards will be in the $500 to $1,500 range. 

Application Fee:  $10 (All application fees go to the Scholarship Fund).

Deadline:  March 3, 2008
